Parler To Bring Its Head Office To Nashville

Social networking company Parler is moving its main office to an unknown place in Nashville city. For the uninitiated, Parler is a social media brand that has turned into a popular product among conservative users who seek less regulation over the content they can publish.

It is unclear whether Parler will make the move to the main area of Nashville or a much more ring-wing landing spot such as Franklin. It is among the few entities popular among the US’s conservative groups that have decided to relocate to the Middle Tennessee area.

Parler’s Chief Executive Officer George Farmer announced the decision to go away from Nevada to Tennessee in the recent press release that former Nashville journalist Bobby Allyn shared. For your information, Allyn is now covering the Tech Giants-related news for National Public Radio in the Silicon Valley area.

As for Farmer, Tennessee has southern hospitality in abundance, great weather as well as wonderful barbecue and music. More importantly, Farmer said, Tennessee shares the vision of Parler of free expression and individual liberty.

Numerous Donald Trump supporters went to Parler in 2020 after Joe Biden’s victory in the US Presidential Election. In January 2021, they forcibly accessed the Capitol Building in a bid to prevent the confirmation of the US Presidential Election result. Then, it was disclosed that Parler was used in the form of a communication tool and a way of planning for those Trump supporters. Parler’s application was taken away from major platforms, like the app store of Apple, after the aforesaid disclosure.

Tennessee passed legislation introducing more penalties for certain protests, trying to define the way in which issues about race could be taught to students and targeting transgenders. Tennessee is also trying to prevent the passage of a bill that would outlaw abortions after a fetal heartbeat becomes detectable. Almost every woman does not know that she is pregnant at such an early stage. Moreover, medical experts rebuff the existence of the said heartbeat as the heart starts forming following nine weeks of pregnancy.

Parler comes to the Tennessee area after The Daily Wire as well as conservative figures such as Matt Walsh and Tomi Lahren.
